P3 to P6 Oral Communication Programmes (Apr 2020)

Primary 3 to Primary 6 Oral Communication Programmes

The art of speaking comes into play not only in school examinations; it is also a crucial life skill that a student can use as they progress from school to working life. Many would feel that oral communication skills are simple and can be easily improved upon with consistent practice. While it is true that consistent practice is essential to improve, students have to develop the right skill set to work on first.

From physical delivery skills to vocal delivery skills, LiteracyPlus’ Oral Communication Programmes will teach students various strategies for reading aloud as well as stimulus-based conversation.

  • Physical delivery skills such as eye contact, facial expressions and posture
  • Vocal delivery skills such as pronunciation, pitch, pace power and pause
  • Strategies to tackle Stimulus-Based Conversation
