In this programme, students were taught key writing skills. For example, how to write captivating Story Starters, developed Story Middles, and satisfying Story Endings. The course imparted strategies to students to create interesting characters and feature conflict / problems and solutions in their stories. To add spice to the compositions, students were taught to use sensory-descriptive details, figurative language and ‘showing’ instead of ‘telling’ sentences in their writing.
